Went to a very happy funeral at the weekend and wanted to share the experience.
My gran was old and had a wonderful life, she passed away in her sleep and a week later after a little bit of organisation we had her funeral. I saw lots of family I had not seen for a while and it really felt like a celebration of life.
It felt just like the end of a happy process and a great day that we enjoyed - of course there were a few tears - but we were happy and joyful that we had shared in the life of this incredible person!
